Canada’s Prime Minister, Stephen Harper, is Israel’s greatest friend amongst world leaders. His moral clarity has been unequalled. His moral stand for Israel has been of outstanding help, be it when he refused to criticize Israel for exercising its right to self-defense, or when he stood by Israel in opposition for Iran’s deal. In a world that stands too often with tyranny, he chose to stand for Canadian values: freedom and democracy. As Canadians, even if we currently live abroad, we completely support his position and are proud of our prime minister.
Prime Minister Harper is up for re-election this October and polls show it will be incredibly close. This is scary. We need him re-elected! His voice is of critical important on the international stage!
We want your help to send a small group of Canadians living currently in Israel that will go back to Canada in order to vote in the coming elections. This campaign will give a great message to Prime Minister Stephen Harper by thanking him for his support for Israel. It will also encourage the Canadian Jewish Community to go out and vote for him. (Traditionally, in ridings with strong Jewish populations, the results are very very close). These are proud Canadians living in Israel that are proud of Harper’s great moral stand on international issues.
Voting through absentee is not enough. We want to send them physically to vote and also to get others to vote. This will both get people out of their homes to vote, and also send a clear message to Harper.

The Canadians that will be flown in will hold activities on the days before the election in order to call on the Jewish community to go out and vote in this critical election.
This election is predicted to be incredibly close and will be very tough for Prime Minister Harper. After all the good he has done, he deserves our support. Your contribution will help us do everything in our power to help him get re-elected!

The Impact
This campaign is also good for Canada. We are proud Canadian citizens. We want what is good for our country. We believe that this campaign will help bring what is good for our great country.
What Will You Do with the Money?
– Rent two cars in Canada for the week before the election to allow for transportation for the 10 Canadian-Israelis participating so that they can hold a “get out the vote” campaign in the Jewish community. (Number of cars needed subject to change according to amount raised)
– Fund some events on the week before the election in the Jewish community to call on people to go out and vote (town hall meetings, rallies, etc…)
According to current plane ticket prices, and rental prices for cars, we believe the amount seeked will allow us to provide for 10 people.
