The Jewish Innovation
Our goal is to tell the story of Zionism in a series of short animated clips. We hope to tell the story of the return of the Jewish people to their homeland in an attention-grabbing way, and inform and educate Jews around the world, especially young audiences. By doing so we hope to strengthen their sense of belonging to the Jewish people and to the land of Israel. We are starting with 3 clips which we hope will help us gain more support and partnerships so we can eventually create a series of 100 clips. The length of an average clips will be 2-3 minutes long and will cover the major events, concepts, individuals, and places in the Zionist story. We have already started working on our first animation which we hope should be out for Yom Haatzmaut – Israel’s independence day.
The Impact
Sadly, many Jews, don’t know enough about one of the most miraculous chapters in world history: the return of the Jewish people to their homeland. We believe that knowing our history is fundamental to strengthening our sense of solidarity and commitment to our people and land.
The digital revolution has dramatically impacted the way most people, especially Millennials, consume content. Research shows that we increasingly read less and watch more, and that the most effective way of educating and engaging people is through short-form rich content. This revolution has created a need for relevant materials in the field of Jewish and Zionist education.
What Will You Do with the Money?
We will produce our first 3 clips, starting with Ben-Gurion’s declaration of the Jewish state which we hope to complete by Israel’s independence day 2015. Some of the money will be used for marketing the clip on social platforms.
Any additional money raised will be used for creating and promoting more videos.
