My name is Yotam Gayer, and I’m a lone soldier serving as a combat soldier in the IDF’s Givati Brigade.

I’m writing this myself. My unit doesn’t have enough protective vests to go around, and this isn’t about convenience — it’s about coming home safely.

I chose to leave my home and my family to defend Israel. I don’t regret that. But a vest isn’t a luxury — it’s the difference between coming home and not.

$1,500 funds one complete protective vest. Our goal is $60,000, enough to equip 40 soldiers in my unit.

I’m not asking you to save the world. I’m asking you to help make sure I come home to my family.
