The Temple Mount is the holiest site of the Jewish People.From time immemorial it has stood at the center of our prayers and devotions.

The Israel Independence Fund, an IRS recognized 501 (c) 3 not for profit, together with our partners in Israel, provides free guide services to any and all  wishing to go up to the Mount in reverence.

Our guides are trained in a special course designed by the Israel Independence Fund’s Temple Mount Initiative, importantly relating the correct Jewish perspective of the Mount’s holiness and true place in Jewish history.

Our guides are there every day that Jews are allowed to enter the holy site, shamefully limited to two time periods a day (morning and afternoon) and only from Sunday to Thursday.

The very practical endeavor of training and providing free guides daily has proven to increase Jewish traffic on the Temple Mount exponentially.  This past year we have seen historic numbers of Jews going up to the Mount. That in and of itself has required the Israel Government and the Israel Police to allow for a friendlier, if still discriminatory, process and easier access for greater numbers.

The Israel Independence Fund, founded in 2007, an IRS recognized 501(c)3, plays a unique role in helping Israel to realize its continuing vision as a strong, secure and uniquely Jewish State devoted to the welfare and future of the Jewish People and to the values of Zionism and democracy. The IIF is a non-political philanthropic endeavor, including Jews and non Jews from all backgrounds and traditions, providing philanthropic focus on solution based grass roots organizations that strengthen the very core of Israel. Employing its own on-the-ground resources to identify NGO's in Israel that effect positive change, strengthening the State, Zionism and the Jewish People, the IIF has a unique ability to identify and incubate smaller organizations that cannot afford extensive fund raising efforts. Thus the IIF allows critical NGOs to employ their resources in their particular missions, on the ground, in Israel, to secure Israel's tomorrow...today.
