The Jewish Innovation

Fact: Until we raise this money, mothers residing in the northern-most neighborhood of Bet El are living with great concern.

These young pioneering families can’t afford to purchase their own security equipment. Town security chief Menachem Tzur (whose mother and brother were murdered by Arabs outside of Bet El) is leading this campaign and says the Arabs are testing the waters, and planning a serious attack. Your donation will simply help to save Jewish lives, period.

Bet El’s Security Plan is OK’ed by the IDF and was born in the wake of severe security incidents in August, October and November 2014. Israel Empowered is raising money to prevent the next one.
Our video above provides the background and solution to this security incident.

The Impact

Simple: Bet El is surrounded by Arabs and the northern part is a security soft spot. Despite the three severe incidents listed above and ongoing daily disturbances, the mothers there are determined to stay – they are not moving. But they are asking that men who live and work right there be provided with security equipment to deter and defend.

The impact?
1. Restore a sense of security to these Moms and Kids.
2. Literally prevent a terrorist murder in Bet El.
3. The need is urgent. The impact is real and immediate. Terror victim Menachem Tzur feels a sense of mission in his work today as Bet El Security Chief. In 1996, his family was targeted in a shooting at a stop sign between Ramallah and Bet El. Ita, the mother, was shot in her stomach and died later at a Jerusalem hospital. Ephraim, Menachem’s brother, died on the spot from a bullet to the head.

Today, Menachem feels it’s his responsibility to be extra vigilant in thinking through every possible terrorist scenario so that no family will have to go through what his family experienced firsthand. Tzur has issued a passionate plea to generously participate now in this campaign. http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/188566#.VIqmVDGUeSo

What Will You Do with the Money?

Money is earmarked for the purchase of security equipment (authorized by Gov’t authorities) to cover the security soft spot highlighted by very recent security breaches.
