Nimrod Goldmann, 31, was diagnosed in August 2015 with Primary Mediastinal B-cell lymphoma (PMBCL), a rare and aggressive cancer subtype that primarily targets young adults.
In the initial stage three different types of chemotherapy were applied without changes in the cancerous mass. The next step was 26 intense applications of radiotherapy. However, a point of metastasis in the lung was discovered.
On June 29 he received a Car-t treatment that KITE Pharma investigates and that led to a partial remission, however another tumor was discovered next to the previous one.
At this stage the only treatment that might help is PD1 (Immunotherapy) and has to be administered every three-weeks  . Each one has a value of USD 8,000.

Nimrod finished his studies and started to work in high tech, was a lone soldier and participated in the second Lebanon war. Just got married to his soul mate Ariana, a newcomer from Australia.  They are alone in Israel, fighting for his life and the right of a future together.

En la etapa inicial se le aplicaron tres tipos diferentes de quimioterapia sin que hubiera cambios en la masa cancerígena. El paso siguiente fueron 26 aplicaciones intensas de radioterapia . Sin embargo se descubrió un punto de metástasis en el pulmón.
El 29 de junio pasado recibió un tratamiento de Car-t que KITE Pharma investiga y que lo llevo a una remisión parcial, sin embargo se descubrió otro tumor al lado del anterior.
El único tratamiento que pudiera salvarle la vida son una serie de aplicaciones cada tres semanas de PD1 (Inmunotetapia). Cada una tiene un valor de USD 8,000.
Nimrod termino sus estudios y comenzó a trabajar en high tech, es veterano de guerra en Israel recién casado con el amor de su vida, Ariana, una olah jadasha de Australia. Ambos están solos en Israel y sueñan con un futuro juntos.
