MoDate is a Modern Orthodox dating platform created by Evan Harris and Menachem Losev in the Spring of 2021. MoDate scales up the process of setting up friends while also helping daters maintain privacy in the dating process. After MoDate reached 1,000 users, Evan and Menachem decided to take things to the next level and Menachem began to work on a web app, while Evan launched a podcast called The MoPod discussing various topics centered around Modern Orthodoxy and dating. The new website recently launched and the hope is that the ease of use and sense of community that MoDate provides will lead to many successful shidduchim. MoDate currently operates on little to no funding and would love to be able to advertise to all corners of the Modern Orthodox world, subsidize events, and eventually develop a mobile app. Follow our journey @MoDate613 on Instagram.
