Meet Ari.
Ari’s an amazing guy, but he never really found the right place to learn.
Some of the yeshivas put too much emphasis on learning 18 hours a day.
Some yeshivas seemed to be more interested in the student fees and not so much in the students themselves.
Some yeshivas didn’t like it when the students asked difficult questions, or didn’t know how to cope when the students were going through a hard time, or a crisis of faith.
Other yeshivas didn’t want Ari to attend because he’s an individual who likes to dress in his own, unique way….
But Ari still wanted to learn Torah in an uplifting environment, where the teachers and Rebbes wouldn’t shut him down if he had hard questions, and where they’d respect that he was on his own path towards Hashem, where they’d help him to be the best G-d fearing, spiritually-alive Jew he could be.
We’re creating a place in the Old City of Jerusalem for Ari, and for the countless others like him who don’t ‘fit’ regular yeshivas, but want to learn Torah and stay in Orthodox Judaism.
The Lev Daniel yeshiva has organized dorms and located its Beit Midrash in one of the most stunning, soul-uplifting locations in the world – the Old City of Jerusalem. We’ve brought together a talented staff of teachers who really live and breathe the Torah they teach, and want to share it with kids like Ari.
Now, we need your help to cover the first year’s budget – $100,000.
With your donation, we can give guys like Ari a great all-round Torah learning experience that will enrich and empower them at every level.
That means taking the yeshiva on hikes and visits across Israel, organizing Hebrew ulpan for the students and arranging all sorts of after-learning activities and sporting events to keep them busy.
So we’re asking for your help, so we can start to help those kids who can’t find their place anywhere else – and make the Lev Daniel yeshiva a reality.
