OK, so here's my story: When I was growing up, anything I'd ever hear about Judaism was a about the whats of Judaism and the hows of Judaism - what to do and how to do it. But why on earth should be involved in this? Why should I care? Why might Judaism make a difference in my life? Somehow these 'whys' were always passed over. Growing up, this bothered me, so I wanted to check out this whole Judaism thing out for myself. So I came to Israel and started searching things out. This began as a philosophical pursuit, but ultimately evolved into something more personal and spiritual, and led me to the deeper side of Judaism, e.g. Hassidut and Kabbalah. This is what I got passionate about and what resonated with me. And ever since then I've been teaching the philosophical and spiritual meaningfulness behind Judaism and Jewish practice to Jewish groups of all backgrounds. -What is Judaism & Why Should I Care? -Joy, Depression & the Soul -Suffering, Death, Reincarnation -The Male-Female Dynamic in Kabbalah -- and how it relates to you I have found these to be the kind of topics people connect with. No matter where people are coming from "Jewishly," the 'whys' and inspiration are what people feel are missing. And this is what I am passionate about. So, for the last 18 years, I have been dedicated to bringing down deep and lofty concepts in a manner that is practical and accessible to anyone. If you'd like to see a fire ignited within Jewish hearts from across the world in a way that changes lives consider partnering with us to leave an impact that will last for generations!

  • Ten / עשר

The word for rich - עָשִׁיר has the same root as the word ten. Pirkei Avos says, "who is rich? One who is satisfied with his lot." The Sefirot are our human perceptions of God’s various interactions with the world, as discussed in "The Ten Sefirot."

  • Life / חַיִים
    0 claimed

According to the Kabalistic “Sefer Yetzirah”, the letters of the Hebrew Alphabet are the building blocks of the universe. Later Kabbalistic works explain that there is a connection between objects and ideas that have the same Gematria (numerical equivilant), or other letter connections. Thus in some way, anything that equals 18 has a connection to Chai/Life
