The Jewish Innovation
We are a group of engineering students from Tel-Aviv University, currently working around the clock in order to design and build a Formula SAE racing car.
Our goal is to compete in two global events that would take place in Hungary and Czech Republic, this summer, where we will compete, side-by-side, with teams from universities from around the world.
This competition is among the most important competitions for engineering students to take place in.
Our team consists of students from all engineering disciplines, working together to design and build the car. The main objective of the competition is to provide students with experience in running a small car manufacturing company.
Our biggest obstacle to overcome is the financial aspect.
We are competing against teams funded by major car brands, such as Mercedes, Porsche and BMW, and even though we are designing a smart, innovative and low-budget racing car, we find it hard to fund this project.
We are inviting you to join us in our quest to push Israeli technology forward!
The Impact
As Jews and Israelis we feel that winning this well known competition is more than just being good engineers.
Winning as the “Underdog” team would prove, once again, that even though we didn’t have the best circumstances to begin with, we were able to succeed, due to our determination and innovation.
Even though Israel is well known for it’s advanced technological capabilities, in the automotive industry, we are lagging behind the rest of the world.
Our objective is to steer Israel’s tech-industry in the direction of automotive engineering. Israel can contribute a lot in this field, and we want Israel to rival countries like Germany for automotive engineering capabilities.
Finally, we hope to be an inspiration to other “Underdog” projects throughout the Jewish community.
What Will You Do with the Money?
By donating, you’re helping our team in two important ways.
First, we will use the money for purchasing parts and pay for the labor needed for manufacturing the vehicle. Your support, will bring our car from the drawing-board to the track.
Additionally, your donation will help with the costs of transporting the vehicle abroad, where the competition will take place.
Your contribution will put the pedal to the metal on our project!
We invite you to keep track of our project’s progress!
We will post updates of our progress all the way to the race-track.
