Join us as we say Thank You and Get Well to IDF soldiers who were injured during Operation Protective Edge, the recent military operation in Gaza. Currently, over 150 injured soldiers are in hospitals throughout Israel. We want them to know that they fought bravely for all of us. This is your opportunity to show them that you too, appreciate them.
This project is being underwritten by the International Young Israel Movement and an anonymous friend who have put together $10,000 in matching funds. These funds will be released when the $10,000 Jewcer target is met!
The Impact
These soldiers risked their lives. For some the wounds will linger for a lifetime. Let’s partner to try and make them feel a little better by spoiling them a bit. Don’t they deserve it?
What Will You Do with the Money?
To purchase credit cards/gift vouchers that will enable these soldiers to choose the gift they want. Every soldier will be given a voucher (card topped up with money) that can be used in all major chain stores in Israel. The more we raise, the more we can top up each card. We will also supply candy packages to keep them going while in hospital.
