The European Jewish Library (EJL) is a non-profit organization located in the EU Jewish Building at the heart of European Quarter in Brussels, Belgium.
In charge of The European Jewish Library is Rabbi Michael Rosenblum, who is also the President of the European Jewish Buildings (EUJB) where the library is located.
EJL is registered in Belgium with Enterprise number: 876.038.177.
The European Jewish Library has a large collection of books and periodicals in over 15 languages and is a center of study for children and youth; its door being open for classes such as Hebrew lessons, learning about Judaism and various children activities.
The European Jewish Library is now raising funds in order to improve and develop the section dedicated to children and youth by:
– purchasing new computers and printers for EJL’s multimedia section
– replacing some of the old and damaged furniture; purchasing new tables and chairs, new closet, repairing the floor, refurbishing the toilet, painting the walls and replacing the old wooden windows.
– expanding the number of books ensuring a fun filed learning experience
each time they return
– acquiring new fun and educational toys for the games section
