We are delighted to share that a generous donor has pledged to match all contributions, effectively doubling your impact.

On Monday, April 6, we will proudly present the third annual Broadway Community Passover Seder! The purpose of this event is to give theatre professionals the chance to come together to celebrate not only the Passover holiday, but also their cultural heritage. Theatre workers are often unable to attend family or traditional holiday events due to demanding performance schedules and work commitments. By offering this special Passover Seder on a typical industry dark night, working members can gather as a theatre family instead. By creating an event catered to these professionals, we aim to make Jewish joy more accessible for those working in the performing arts. Creating a holiday event for people of countless different backgrounds creates a wonderful opportunity for learning as we blend traditions together to foster an event that is welcoming to everyone.

We are working to ensure that admission cost is an incentivizing entry point for attendees instead of one that is an obstacle. With the generous support of donors like you, we are able to make that goal a reality. Your donation helps subsidize tickets for artists, supports the welcoming celebration that we are creating, strengthens the bonds within our community, and ensures this tradition will continue into the future.

We hope that you might be able to join us in bringing to life our magical celebration of the intersection of the Broadway and Jewish communities, as we uplift Jewish professionals in the theatre industry. It is our goal to foster community and connection for these Jewish theater professionals while honoring their unique impact on the performing arts. Thank you for your time and consideration in this unique project.

Please note that this year’s Haggadah Program has gone to print, so unfortunately new donations cannot be included in the printed edition, but we are so grateful to you for your contribution.
