The Jewish Innovation

Café Olam is opening a first of its kind, a Jewish Brewpub and performance venue with a purpose. We plan to host premier artists, chefs, brewers and entertainers at this event, the BrewHaHa on October 13th, to engage our donors, prospective donors, investors, community partners and future customers. On this night, like all our Cafe Olam events, we are rallying people who are excited about the creation of a space that will offer house brewed drinks, shows and other programs and events while engaging in social action, learning, socializing and networking.

The Impact

The Cafe Olam vision of a brewpub and performance venue with Jewish roots and a purpose, is to build community around the arts, food and sustainability. Café Olam will have an impact on world Jewry by organizing, convening and empowering our community to be involved, stay involved, and deepen their connections with each other, the arts, and the world. Not only will your support today help make fundraising possible, but your contribution towards Café Olam allows us to create a space to meet the demands of today’s modern Jewish adult who is looking for community outside of the traditional spaces.

What Will You Do with the Money?

Café Olam’s BrewHaha is one of several fundraising events going on around Philly that will allow Café Olam to put down roots. Your support allows us not only to put on this smorgasbord of treats, but allows us to address the critical start up costs. Nonprofits require a lot of start up funds in order to even come close to opening doors. We are raising funds for legal costs, web development, architecture renderings for our new space, branding, and strategic planning. We run programs from grant money and will be launching a separate campaign for our capital costs. So please help today and dress to the nines for the BrewHaha. Cost of tickets ($18) goes towards event costs (BrewHaHa food, drinks and entertainment)and any donation beyond that goes towards start up costs listed above. Your support of Café Olam ensures that we can all have a Jewish community where everybody knows our [Hebrew] name!
