One year ago, I dreamed of putting out an album of music, and because of the Jewcer Campaign, Ehyeh came “to be.” If you supported Ehyeh, I want to thank you so much for considering supporting my next album, Ashrei. If you haven’t heard Ehyeh, yet, you’ll have the chance to grab both CDs while you’re here.

Here’s the scoop on Songs of Joy and Happiness:

I’m going to use lots texts from the Jewish liturgy (many you’ll recognize from a Shabbat morning service) as well as a few texts of my own to create this energy.

But it’s not all joy and bubbles. As you can tell from the promo video, the title track Ashrei is an edgy take on experiencing joy. When I first wrote this tune, Michael Evers and I were at Kulanu, the Hebrew High School in Cincinnati, and I started singing it in the halls of Valley Temple before school began. After a few minutes we were jumping around and singing and I knew it might be a bop.

If you’d like to support but prefer to give a smaller donation than the amounts provided here, you can consider giving on my patreon page (starts as low as $1 a month):  www.patreon.com/benpagliaro

Here’s what each amount will allow me to accomplish:

CREATION: $2550

$1000 allows me to pay musicians/artists to add elements to the album

$350 allows me to pay Rabbi Nick Renner (Guitarist and Spiritual Advisor)

$1800 allows me to pay Jack Kwait-Blank (Mixing/Production/Management)

$400 allows me to pay Mobtown Studios for Mastering

PHYSICAL PRODUCTION: $1650

$50 is the cost for album distribution

$300 allows me to produce 100 hard copy CDs

$250 allows me to mail the CDs and vinyls to each person that orders one

$500 to create curated boxes for Concert in a box

$550 allows me to produce 10 limited edition vinyls
