About Our Settlement :
Alei Zahav is a community mixed settlement in the Western Shomron
Region, and is adjacent to the communities of Pedual, Bruchin, and a few
kilometers away from Beit Aryeh, Barkan, Elkana and the city of Ariel.
The settlement was established 1982 by the Beitar Organization, and it
now is part of the Regional Association of the Shomron.
Demographically, the settlement is expanding. In the last two years alone
the size of the population has doubled itself.
Currently there are 220 families living in the community.
The members of the settlement live together in the spirit of acceptance
and helping one another, in the spirit of “All of Israel is responsible one for
the other”
The general population of the community’s spirit reflects a great love of
the country and State of Israel, with the vast majority of the male
population having served in combat units in the army.
Within the community there are public kindergartens, day care centers,
a library, sports fields and clubs, a horse ranch, a mini-market, an
industrial area, a general secretary and even a petting zoo, and more.
