In recent years we have seen a dramatic uptick in antisemitism and anti Israel violence. According to adl.org, 25 million individuals in the US and Canada “harbour antisemitic views”. This statistic is reflected in the nearly 2,000 violent antisemitic incidents reported by by adl.org for 2017; a nearly 60% increase from the previous year, with incidents occurring in ALL 50 US states. Compounding these facts are the resurgence or rise of many new hate hate groups, as well as the alarming number of senseless public shooting incidents that have occurred over this same period of time. But there is hope! We are assembling a team of highly experienced IDF veterans who are being chosen for their special interpersonal skills and their unique love of children. With your help, these wonderful young men will be placed inside of our partnering Jewish institutions beginning in the Northeastern United States. Not only will these brave men fill the role of guarding our children against the threat of physical harm, as well they will be maintaining a focus on providing an ongoing presence as a loving and friendly big brother figure to whom the children relate, and will trust to seek out in Chas V’Shalom a time of crisis.
