Homelessness in Davidson County is critically high. Among those unhoused, youth make up a great deal of those unhoused. Nashville has one of the highest rates of Homelessness in the US. Many factors are involved with those who find themselves unhoused from job loss to mental health, lack of education and family support, and substance abuse issues are just a few areas that lead to being unhoused. It is my goal to be the bridge that can assist unhoused youth and young adults with stability and to aid them in longterm resources, such as:
- Providing housing
- mental health and medical treatment
- job training
- providing clothing, food, and hygiene kits.
- Multi-use urban garden.
