Hello all, thank you so much for helping me turn my trauma into funny, nice to meet ya!

My name is Alisha Marks CEO of Stubborn Lady Productions LLC. I am a writer, tv show creator, producer, actress and youth acting coach. I am originally from Miami, and California has been my home for 18 years. I have a fur baby named Zoey who will be playing in my shows along with me.

You can see us here in one of my short films I wrote, directed, produced, cast and star in with Zoey. It went to some great Film Festivals and played at LA Live in downtown LA.

In 2019 it was nominated for the best film of the year on the No Longer Network.

I started to write after a traumatic event. I realized I am here to create hope and inspiration for others. I am very lucky as I almost sold my first 2 shows to a Network, and it was my 1st pitch meeting that I got on my own! Fortunately, I did not as they ended up shutting down shortly after, the Head of programming was at a huge Network for a very long time. Since than in the last 5 years, I have had many Producers want my shows, life happened and now I am back going full force. I signed with a very successful Production company as a writer and TV show creator a few months back in 2024. We have been having pitch meetings over zoom.

So, here is where you come in.  I had a mtg with a large streamer right before the writers’ strike, and they want a second meeting.

I had a very successful 2nd meeting with a very successful film studio last week.

At this time, I have the most amazing, 2 seasoned Producers, Casting Director, an Emmy winning show runner, an Emmy winning screen writer on my team.  A truly powerful team who love me, my voice and talent which I am so grateful for! I am seeking seed money asap. I was in a car accident and currently living in San Diego, money to get a production vehicle, and office set up in Los Angeles.

So I can be able to go in person to the networks and film studios to pitch my 14 projects, get Stubborn Lady Productions LLC out there and known.

I have chosen to not let my past trauma stop me, and I put bits and pieces of my trauma in my shows and films. I have chosen to make them funny which I can’t wait for you to see! Your generosity will help me make my dreams a reality! And help me get my dear friends on set, working and making money doing what everyone loves to do so we can create hope and inspiration!

Thank you!!!

Alisha Marks

Alisha got bit by the entertainment bug when she was 3 performing in her first play. From that moment, she was always acting. Cut to 18, she played in her first Pilot, started to book more commercials, films and tv shows. Went to Miami Dade College with a full theater scholarship, The Lee Strasberg Tv and Film institute in Manhattan with a scholarship, studied at the Groundlings and The Upright citizens brigade in Los Angeles. Got into doing makeup, props, producing, directing, assistant directing and casting. Moved to LA continued her passion to learn as much as possible in the Entertainment Industry. She was very fortunate that her 1st job in LA was at Warner Brothers, she was paid while she got to learn from the Executives during a month intensive training course. Her passions grew and grew. Unfortunate situations happened, and instead of being a victim she became a victor and taught herself how to write. She got her first pitch mtg with Awestruck Tv owned by Dreamworks, got her 1st two shows with the head of programming was set to be in the fall lineup, and fortunately for her, the network shut down as Alisha realized her worth and value as a creator. She has had many producers want her shows, clean them up, take away her edge, and Alisha has stuck to her guns to not limit herself or sacrifice her voice. Recently she had a pitch mtg with a very large streamer, they loved it and are waiting for a 2nd mtg. Alisha has decided to use a concept she created to independently produce and distribute her shows her way. She has made a few successful shorts that went the film festival market and 1 played at LA Live in Los Angeles. Alisha is also a successful youth acting coach since 2010, 2020 rated as one of the top 5 acting coaches in Hollywood, and in 2022 rated as 1 of the Top 4 in Hollywood.
