The Jewish Innovation
Furthermore, intertwining music with Yiddish theater shtick in a classic radio show format, we have been labeled the Jewish Prairie Home Companion. The radio commercial jingles we perform live throughout the show are filled with Jewish merchandise such as “Hebrew National Meats” and “Manischewitz”. Families and children leave the show humming jingles all the way home, and subliminally purchase an overstock of kosher pickles the next day….
And now we plan to record our first album!
We want to record nine of our original arrangements of well known Jewish folk music to have on a hard copy album. We will use this album to help circulate the new flavor of Jewish music that we’re bringing to this generation, as well as help our campaign of keeping klezmer music alive deep into the future, and across the world. With an official album, we can submit our music to world music festivals, Jewish conferences and conventions, synagogues and multicultural events where we will keep the flame alive and strive to have this music thrive!

The Impact
What Will You Do with the Money?
Consider engineer’s wage and mastering fees adds another: $3,765
Add food and subsidies for the starving musicians: $1,500
After CD pressing = another $1,000
Then graphic design, any documentation of the process, and smaller miscellaneous costs = $1,750
Total Budget: $11,765
And these are optimistic estimates!
These won’t cover any costs for near future goals such a a release concert and music video this summer, but if we can at least raise $9,200.00, then we can scrounge up funding for the rest of our official 2014 launch campaign!
