Palestinian Media Watch (PMW) is a critical force known internationally for its in-depth research exposing the core of the Palestinian Authority’s (PA) ideologies and for bringing to light messages glorifying terrorists conveyed daily in PA-controlled TV, radio and other media .

In 2017, PMW informed the world about the outrageous naming of 31 Palestinian schools, a women’s center and more in honor of Dalal Mughrabi and other Palestinian terrorists. Mughrabi led the 1978 bus hijacking in which 12 children and 25 adults were savagely murdered.

Governments worldwide responded to PMW’s findings by condemning the PA in language unprecedented in its severity. Norway, Belgium, Denmark, the Netherlands, Sweden and Switzerland froze funding to Palestinian projects worth millions of euros and demanded that the PA stop glorifying terrorists.

PMW’s exposé revealing how the Palestinian Football Association (PFA) and its head Jibril Rajoub routinely use sports to glorify terrorists led to Germany cancelling €400,000 in funding to the PFA in 2017. Following complaints filed by PMW in 2017, the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) rejected the Palestinian’s two-year-long campaign to oust the Israel Football Association (IFA) — a move that would have caused irreparable damage to Israeli football.

PMW is the only organization to painstakingly document and expose to the world how the PA pays salaries to terrorists and their families — work that continues to have a major international impact. PMW’s findings led to the Taylor Force Act, which severely restricts US funding to the PA and was passed by committees in the US Senate and House in 2017.

PMW is changing the way the world views the PA and propelling governments around the world to change their policies towards the PA and condemn the PA’s support of terror and its incitement to hate and violence. But we can’t do it alone. PMW is an independent, non-profit research and education institute that relies solely on funding from generous donors like you.

Please give today and help PMW expand its impact in 2018.

Palestinian Media Watch
Jerusalem District, Israel

Founded in 1996, Palestinian Media Watch (PMW) is an independent, non-profit research institute based in Jerusalem that monitors and analyzes Palestinian Authority (PA) controlled media and institutions to understand the messages the PA transmits to its own people about peace, Jews, and Israel. PMW’s in-depth research has exposed the core of the PA’s ideologies, including the denial of Israel’s existence, hate speech, direct calls to violence, and the reward and glorification of terrorists. PMW regularly presents its findings to members of the Israel government, U.S. Congress, and parliaments worldwide and has been instrumental in changing international funding practices and the way the international community views the PA. PMW also provides comprehensive analyses critical for understanding the intricacies of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the obstacles to peace to news outlets worldwide – including the BBC, CNN, Fox News, the NY Times and the Washington Post - and PMW’s reports are referenced repeatedly by leading journalists, world leaders, governing bodies and websites worldwide.
