We are raising $10,000 to bring Shabbat hospitality to an additional 1,000 young adults — so we can hit our goal of 7,000 guests in 2018. Your contribution of any amount will be matched and is greatly appreciated!
What is Shabbat Tent? Taking a cue from Abraham and Sarah, Shabbat Tent volunteers set up a hospitality tent and provide food, hydration, shade, Shabbat meals, celebration and activities.
Where? In 2018 we have provided Shabbat experiences across at Sundance, SXSW, Coachella, Lightning in a Bottle, Vans Warped Tour, Rainbow Gathering, High Sierra. We have a few more venues for this year including Phish Curveball Festival and Lockn’ Festival.
Who? Shabbat Tent is always opens to anyone who wants to celebrate Shabbat or visit our Oasis of Chill.
When? Our team of volunteers is running Shabbat programs at two more festivals in 2018 – Phish’s Curveball, Aug. 17-19 and Lockn’ Festival, Aug. 21-23.
Why? Because we love the Jewish people, Shabbat, and making the world a better place.

Shabbat Tent’s Mission is to create an Oasis of Chill based on Jewish hospitality at the world’s great music and culture festivals inspiring Jewish connectivity and community, and spreading the universal message of Shabbat. Shabbat Tent is always open to anyone.
