Sweet Mia is a victim of abuse in the West Bank. She is one of three puppies who survived the abuse. Mia was hung by her legs from a tree and severely beaten by a man who managed to kill 4 of seven puppies. Good news is she has a loving home with me and my life partner Liav and she has gotten happier in the last five days that she has been with me (since August 1, 2018). She is eating and drinking well but bad news is that she has a broken front leg in which the bone is shattered in multiple places and fracture on the femur bone of the back leg. She tries to get up and walk as if she’s a normal puppy but cannot hold herself up. The orthopedic surgeon at Knowledge Farm in Kfar Saba will be performing both surgeries on Thursday morning at 9am as this is her only chance to be able to walk again.

The total cost is 6,190 shekels for surgery/hospitalization after surgery/medications and I can’t imagine being able to pay it all on my own.

I am so blessed to have a quiet and loving place to heal, but I’ll need help with the medical bills. (I would have planned a bit better if I knew I was adopting a puppy at this time in my life!). I already love her so much and I can’t wait for the day that Mia is running around and playing, and never ever feels the pain of abuse again. I already have some donations that have come in through Paypal so I have deducted those from the cost.
