Hello everyone,
A few months ago, Hila and Oran decided to contribute to the Jewish community of Bali by creating a Beth Habbad. Despite the lack of finances, every Shabbat, they welcome families who live here and very often homeless people who find themselves in the area. We have already met more than 20 people for a meal of Shabbat. Wonderfully surrounded, they bring everything we need for every holiday, every Shabbat, every occasion.
The difficulty in which we find ourselves is that there is no kosher meat in Bali. We have to travel to Australia or Singapore to replenish ourselves, and despite the few donations made by those who end up in the community, we soon arrive at Pesach and our resources are minimal.
We would like to help this couple who, as best they can, give the maximum of themselves so that we do not miss anything.
To give an idea, 500 euros can pay for air tickets and bring back 40 kg of meat. We would also like in the near future, bring a Chohet to hide us chickens on site.
For the moment all this remains of the order of the fantasy, since we do not have the necessary funds.
Know that dozens of Jews pass through Bali every week and they are received like kings in Beth Habbad, fed, housed, considered and helped in their approach.
We like so much to give back to Oran and Hila a hundred times what they bring each week.
We therefore appeal to your generosity on this Passover eve so that we can bring to our community all that they need for these important holidays.
Thanks in advance and Hag Sameah
