The Jewish Innovation

We are Israeli Jewish Americans, living in the San Francisco Bay Area who strongly believe that while living in the US, it’s crucial to be part of the American community.

Recent studies show that first and second generation Israeli-Jewish young adults are not an integral part of the Jewish world in the US. Thus, we decided to engage Israeli students on US campuses to rebuild that connection to their roots.

We have a strong desire to ensure our descendants build and maintain strong ties to the Jewish people and Israel.

The Impact

Our Students work through a yearlong on and cross campus program and then some are being chosen for a personal 8 weeks internship program in Israel.

Our objectives are simple: We want to showcase Israel’s strengths, through personal experience of life and work there.

What Will You Do with the Money?

It costs us $8000 for each of the 15 students to fly to, live and travel in Israel for 8 weeks (approximately $120,000).

This program is funded by our local community, but we want to expand our reach and support for our cause and by raising $30,000 from our supporters across the U.S. and in Israel toward the funding of this summer’s trip.

This is the first year we are launching such an ambitious project and we hope to increase the number of students eligible for next year’s trip.
