We at Adas Chareidis have been impressed with brain training (auditory and visual feedback to help the brain optimize its function) and hope to spread awareness about dynamic neurofeedback for home use. Local sister organizations with day programs for seniors and individuals with special needs are very interested to try it, especially upon hearing success stories like the one below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=R816xHjjdtg&feature=youtu.be&fbclid=IwAR1qLOWKlunKbbusA1VSUfTipFQT5jzkrDkGdhEyOYZyt8WAtjCy1KK-YMQ
But since neurofeedback is not typically reimbursed by insurance, it may be financially out of reach for many of the individuals who could benefit from it most. This form of neurofeedback is FDA approved for general wellness, therefore does not require a diagnosis. Through voluntary surveys and testing, we hope to show how this technology can make a positive impact. Our goal is to fundraise a down-payment toward purchasing a neurofeedback device, or continue to rent a device, providing a projected 300 sessions over the next six months. While mobile sessions generally cost $125-$175, we offer the first 5 sessions free, then sliding scale ($5-$50 per session, based on the budget of the organizations we partner with). Most people report significant improvement in sleep and quality of life in 15 sessions, and an over 90% recovery from a wide range of symptoms by 29 sessions. Anyone donating $18 or more will have tehillim (psalms) said for them at the Ribnitzer Rebbe’s graveside in Monsey. Contributors of $36 or more will also receive an illustrated, self-improvement e-book by Rabbi Israel Wagschal, founder of Adas Chereidis. Thank you for your consideration, and tizku l’mitzvos.
