On May 23, 2018 Michelle Spivak is marrying Major Eyal Rechnitz of the Israel Defense Forces in Tel Aviv.  Many loved ones will be far away and one person will be especially missed—the Mother of the Bride, Naomi Spivak.

Despite surgeries and chemotherapy in New York, Naomi died of cancer in December of 2015 shortly after Michelle completed her MBA at IDC University. In January 2017 Michelle visited IDC to look for a way to commemorate her mother’s name in the holy land and that is when she met Eyal.

For those who cannot attend the ceremony and would like to honor this special time, please consider a charitable donation to IDC Herzliya. The contributions will help plant a garden in her mother’s name and ultimately go towards students in need of financial aid scholarships.
