Kehilat Yonatan is a congregation based in Hod Hasharon, Israel with a vibrant community of Israelis and visitors from around the world who want to share a Jewish connection. We offer weekly Shabbat and festival prayer services, Bar/Bat Mitzvah preparations and celebrations, educational and cultural courses, and a multi-seasonal lecture series featuring some of the most renowned Israeli authors, poets, lecturers and musicians. Our new building, which is currently under construction, is located in the heart of Hod Hasharon, 25 minutes outside of Tel Aviv. After 18 years of borrowing and renting spaces, the new building will allow us to have a permanent home of our own, provide space for more people who wish to join us in exploring their Jewish heritage and will also include a brand new kindergarten. Our congregation is led by Rabbi Michael Boyden who was born in London, England. In 1985, Rabbi Boyden made Aliyah to Israel from England with his wife and their two children.Rabbi Boyden was the founding rabbi of the Ra’anana Reform Congregation in Israel and since 2002, he has served as the spiritual leader of “Kehilat Yonatan” in Hod Hasharon, which he established together with a group of committed Jews in the area.
