You may be asking yourself, why does JICNY need my donation when I often pay a fee to attend JICNY events?
Well, the truth is (and we’d be glad to show your our budget), only a very small percentage of the event fees you pay go toward keeping the organization operating. We do our best running programs almost completely by volunteers – (individuals like Jodi, Gavin, and Steve volunteer all of their time!) – however we need to raise money to keep the organization functioning – for example, our website, on which you register for programs, does not run for free.
We have 72 hours to achieve our goal. Your support counts… TWICE! Anonymous donors have agreed to match $15,000 with $15,000 of their own to help our organization continue.
