Money is being raised to publish a book titled: International Law versus International Justice: The Quandary of the Laws of War in the Middle East Conflict.
This book by progressive author Dr. Gary J. Sagiv takes the fundamentals of the legality of the use of force outside the boundaries of the ivory towers and places it in the realities of our times. It rejects the status quo of Israel bashing and fights ethical relativism which has served humanity for millennia. The “atrophy of the mind” is the lack of realism that the author sees in the international ecosystem. Unlike many of his peers, Sagiv proposes that: The use of force to protect Israel is legal. Humanitarian intervention is critical and necessary. Natural law, which allows Israel to react is as important if not more than positive law. Terrorism is illegal and thus it’s eradication is needed by any means necessary. Targeted killings as used by Israel are lawful. Anticipatory self-defence (re 6 day war) is a legitimate tool and finally, the United Nations is a lethargic and inoperable organization which has reached if not surpassed it’s Humpty Dumpty points.
As antisemitism, BDS activities, desecration of Jewish cemeteries and pro Islamic forces are entering the USA political echelon are on the rise, Someone needs to warn the world that the rights of Israel and all Jews are legally grounded in international law. Time is short and we, as a g;lobal community need to work fast!
Why me? The year 1998 is not just a date edged in Gary Sagiv’s memory, but rather the genesis of what was to become a 30-year passion of observing from the sidelines, international legal activism. Unable to find a legal academic environment that could or would embrace his ideology (as they were all too liberal) so that he could stay true to his ideals and beliefs, he decided to “chuck it” while approaching it from a different angle. His unique groundbreaking body of work that attacks contemporary accepted paradigms and “politically correct” terminology, transcends most political and legal narratives seen today. His non- conformist approach to globalization and western domination and ownership of the lingo and practice, has placed him on the curb and far aside from the mainstream.
Often looked at upon as a square peg in a round hole, he documents legal encounters or episodes as a vestige of an energetically charged international legal ecosystem where physical violent occurrences occur under the guise of legitimacy which persists on a longitudinal time continuum. He feels that out of sheer schadenfreude, international law as well as the institutions that “manage it” cannot help but look on with glee as international conflict, genocide and quarrels continue as it reassures their existence. While he is rather disappointed that most don’t share his opprobrium and vitriol for the United Nations, he understands the theory of “sheeple” – the submissive herd behavior where most groups and people are docile, hapless, easily influenced, thoughtless and easily led by the pseudo elite (or put more bluntly, the masses follow their asses!). The problem, he believes, is that by the time these sheeple rouse from the naivete and try to change the situation, it will be far too late. I am here, with this book, to change things and make a stand!
The money that is raised will be used to publish the book, and any money raised above the initial amount will be used to translate the book into other languages (besides English).
