Effective Israel Advocacy
Israellycool Israel Advocacy is a leader in the fight against online antisemitism and libels against Israel, while at the same time showing the true face of Israel to those who are not necessarily pro-Israel to begin with.
Fine-tuning an approach to Israel advocacy over the last 17 and a half years, Israellycool has grown to be one of the most popular English-language online addresses focused on Israel in the world, with resources, commentary and calls for action, and a reputation for its scoops, edgy humor, and scrupulous fact-checking.
The website, Facebook page, Twitter account and blog get millions of visitors a year and are well-known not only in the Israel advocacy world, but also beyond “the choir.” Israellycool has been cited dozens of times by the mainstream media, and is used and respected by members of the Israeli government.
Impact
While there are many Israel advocates out there, Israellycool has risen to the top when it comes to making a real difference in influencing hearts and minds towards Israel, even in an increasingly hostile environment. Our many achievements include:
- Helping get antisemites into serious trouble
- Influencing an antisemite to see the error of their ways and renounce their previous behavior
- Having an Emirati businessman single out Israellycool at a large Dubai-Israel business conference as a reason he started seeing Israel and Zionism in a new, positive light (see also campaign video)
- Developing good relationships with pro-Israel celebrities and influencers, some of whom have written for Israellycool and even granted exclusive interviews
- Disturbed (band) lead singer David Draiman –
- Hollywood actor Mark Pellegrino
- Legendary musician Alan Parsons sharing one of our posts in order to rebuff Roger Waters’ boycott efforts
- Getting Hollywood celebrity Rosie O’Donnell to remove anti-Israel artwork from her online store
- Being named as one of the top 40 global advocates for Israel online by JNS

How Your Contributions Will be Used
As effective as Israellycool has been, we can make an even bigger difference and reach way more people who may be sitting on the fence when it comes to Israel. With this in mind, I have dedicated myself fulltime to this endeavor, forming Israellycool Israel Advocacy as an amuta (registered non-profit organization in Israel) applying for Section 46 tax-deductible status in Israel.
Israellycool Israel Advocacy is still effectively a one-man operation. I would like to focus on producing more content, expand its reach, while ensuring its ongoing viability. With this in mind, I am trying to raise $50,000 to be spent on the following for the coming year:
$20,000 – Payment of social media content services (incl. newsletter management)
$20,000 – Ongoing salary and non-profit administration expenses
$10,000 – Payment of additional, hand-selected contributors (goal: 2 additional posts per week)
