If you are like me, you’ve blogged for many platforms (or read blogs on many platforms). The one thing you will see consistently throughout the Jewish blogging world is that the blogs on that platform have an agenda. It might be blatant – that they only offer one view matching their own political and/or religious agenda, or it might be subtle – that they CLAIM they are an open market for everyone’s ideas when in fact, they very quietly manipulate posts or focus and give more time and attention to the ones that support their agenda.

Some favor specific writers, leaving others in darkness. Some outright lie both to their writers and to their supporters, forcing them to write what they want to appear on their site.

All this is why we are launching Israel Blogger – the first true, open, uncensored blogging platform. The editors in this project will not agree with everything that appears on the pages of this site, but it will appear. Each registered blogger will have the option to respond to another – uncensored.

Readers will be welcome, encouraged, appreciated to respond. The only rule for bloggers is a request for respectful dialog; the only rule for commenting…respect. Fight the idea, not the person.

We hope you’ll help support the launching of this site and once it’s up, we hope you’ll visit often, share your opinion and help build a true community out of Israel Blogger – the home to all Jewish and Israeli bloggers!

Israel Blogger is about giving all Jewish and Israeli bloggers a voice, a single platform where all views can be expressed, discussed, examined. Left or right, even far left and far right - all in one place. Where discussion is never censored.

If you are interested in a place where Jewish and Israeli bloggers can post freely and without censorship. Please consider donating - even $5 - less than 20 NIS. Speak to any blogger who has attempted to join a Jewish or Israeli blogging platform and you'll hear differing experiences. But in all cases, they will tell you what that platform wants - it leans to the left, it leans to the right. We want to build the one platform that unites all Jews - all ideas. We aren't afraid of words; we have no fear of any voice. Please help us by supporting this site!
