Tamar Mori is a bright and sweet seven year old girl from Israel who was born with a rare condition called ear atresia. This means that one of her ear canals did not develop properly, along with parts of her hearing system. As a result, Tamar cannot hear in that ear.
Living with hearing loss at such a young age is not simple. Tamar works very hard every day, but hearing with only one ear makes learning in school much more difficult. It is hard for her to follow conversations in class, understand her teachers clearly, and connect socially with other children. Situations that are easy for most kids can be confusing and exhausting for her.
After many medical consultations, doctors and specialists strongly recommended a complex surgery that could restore her hearing. The procedure will be performed by Dr Roberson in California, one of the world’s leading experts in this field. With God’s help, this surgery could allow Tamar to hear from her affected ear for the first time in her life, hopefully without needing additional hearing devices in the future.
The total cost of the surgery, flights, and a one month stay in the United States is 80000 dollars. This is far beyond what our family can manage alone.
We are reaching out with open hearts to ask for your support. By helping Tamar, you are giving a little girl the chance to hear her teachers, her friends, music, laughter, and the everyday sounds most of us take for granted.
Blessed is the person who takes part in helping save the hearing and future of a small child. Every donation, big or small, brings Tamar one step closer to a life with sound. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
