Dear friends, students, and kind-hearted supporters,
With a heavy and broken heart, I’m reaching out today to share painful news and ask for your help. Recently, my home was broken into and ransacked. In a single, devastating act, thieves stole not just money — but the fruits of years of dedicated work. Tens of thousands of shekels, dollars, euros, and British pounds were taken. They stole all the money from all of the books sold this year and paid for in cash (over 100 books), money from many therapy sessions, and thousands of dollars from other educational events — every dollar and shekel earned with love and poured back into supporting others. It was meant to sustain my work and my family, and now it’s all gone.
As many of you know, I have devoted my life to helping others heal — through therapy, through teaching, through writing books that touch hearts and open minds. Many of you have been touched by my work, and many of you have even gone on to start your own groups, classes, courses, and projects inspired by my work.
I have never found it easy to ask for help myself, but today, in this week of Hod of Sefirat HaOmer – of humility, softening, and surrender – I find myself in a place where I must.
This loss is more than financial. Every book sale, every shekel earned from therapy sessions, every dollar earned from educational events, was earned through blood, sweat, and tears. I give my all to my therapy clients and gave my all to every page in the book. And it is now all gone.
It threatens to silence the work I have built — the sessions, the classes, the books yet to be written. But with your support, I believe we can turn this moment of violation into a testament of resilience and community strength.
I am launching this crowdfunding campaign to try to cover even a fraction of what was stolen to help me get back on my feet, to rebuild stability, and help me continue the mission that so many of you have been part of. Your contribution, no matter the size, will help me restore, not just much-needed parnasa, but my trust in humanity that was stolen. and return to serving others with full strength.
If you have at all been touched by my work, book, teachings, or by me as a person and friend, please, please consider helping me in this devastating time of need.
Please consider donating and sharing this campaign with your circles. Your support is not only financial — it is a healing balm in this difficult time.
With deep gratitude, humility, and hope,
Benji
