Our System is two-sided. There is the one side, The Cholim Submission Form, mentioned above and the second side, The Daily Mailer Subscribers, those who receive emails to pray for those who are in need. The system allows you to choose which days to receive the email and the number of Cholim you would like to receive. This e-mail reads… “When reading, please have in a mind a Refuah Shelayma for the following….” followed by the # of Cholim names you choose to receive, followed by a 4 sentence piece of Torah, which is practically applicable to your daily life.

Currently all of the communication is done through our Networks, on Facebook, Twitter, and via email are being done manually, which takes time, when time is of the essence. Through your pledge, all of the money raised will go towards our programmers in Israel to develop the most streamlined, seamless, efficient system, enabling the true potential of the prayer network to be reached. This system would allow the sick and ill to have their name read by thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, praying, in the matter of moments. It would ensure our emails are sent out daily at the same time as well as the accuracy of our list.

Through technology our world has become extremely connected in so many ways, it is vital that we utilize this tremendous tool within the Jewish Community!

Our organization realizes the power of prayer and from the many emails we have received with personal touching stories we have come to understand that our organization is able to have an impact on the cholah and our email recipients.

The money will build a new streamlined, integrated, more efficient system which will convert our system from a manual, time consuming system, to an automated efficient system. Our organization is run purely by volunteers and those volunteers would be best served spending time marketing and getting the word out about our useful tool to the entire Jewish Commmunity, instead of spending their time with the abundance of maintenance entailed in keeping up with the daily changes to the site.

Currently the website has many features; these will be enhanced as well. You can think of it as Refuah-Shelayma.org 2.0 the newer better more efficient tool for the Jewish community which can now can actually be utilized efficiently by the community. Any additional money raised over our marker of $9,000 will facilitate in creating the newest pillar of the Jewish community!
