It has been almost three decades since a Swedish- Hebrew dictionary has been printed. Idit Margulis, a Hebrew language teacher, linguist and educator and a cultural entrepreneur has therefore decided the time is ripe for a modern, colourful, vibrant illustrated new dictionary to see the day. She founded Culturente and started off producing some Hebrew teaching material.

Her baby-project- “Alef- Bet Kör” is a Hebrew/ Swedish illustrated dictionary. Each value includes an illustration, Hebrew spelling, translation as well as phonetic pronunciation. The lexicon includes as well some rules concerning vowels and consonants as well as some alphabet exercise sheets.

This new dictionary, assembelled and illustrated by Shiry Avny and translated by Idit Margulis will make your Hebrew time fun, vibrant and most important modern- apt to the world we live today.
