To spread the happiness to the world, we have setup a team calling it ‘Farmbank’ (Team Farmbank) to focus on agricultural projects. We believe that happiness can also be found in and spread through agriculture (a term, which includes farming – ‘Farm’-bank). Team Farmbank believes that putting a smile on the face of others is the key to real happiness. Agriculture, which is the science and art of cultivating plants and livestock no longer get priority from many communities in this modern world and this continue to happen worldwide. Agriculture was the key development in the rise of sedentary human civilization in the early days before technology came to change our lifestyle. Due to the drastic millennium shift to the world of technology, agriculture has slowly faded from the minds of people in this world. However, Team Farmbank has step up as a playmaker to develop agriculture sector in targeted countries in the Southeast Asia (SEA) region. Generally, the soil is SEA region is suitable for agriculture and of course, geographical surroundings plays an important role in the selection of land relevant to the types of plants and/or livestock. Team Farmbank in its recent attempt, has managed to attract a partner to dedicate 130 hectares of land for agricultural purpose in Quảng Nam, Vietnam. Quảng Nam is a province in central Vietnam, bordering Laos to the west and the sea to the east. It’s home to Mỹ Sơn, a complex of roughly 4th- to 13th-century Hindu temple remains from the Cham empire, surrounded by jungle and backed by Cat’s Tooth Mountain. Coastal beaches include the wide, palm-lined Cửa Đại and An Bang. Offshore, the coral reefs of the rocky Chàm Islands form a protected marine park.

The people of Vietnam and the government will benefit from this project. Vietnam’s economy has heavily dependent and benefited from foreign direct investment. Team Farmbank will contribute the fund to create more job opportunities for the local community while the Government of Vietnam will receive capital injection to boost the agricultural sector.

Team Farmbank will use the fund for a startup of herb farm but not limited to the following:

1. Provide wages to the field workforce, Office Administrators, Technology Department and Research and Development Department.
2. Purchase good soil and fertilizers.
3. Obtain certification from local state agency or a reputable private organization.
4. Purchase herbs seeds.
5. Provide good drainage and sufficient water and electricity supply.
6. Purchase laptops, desktops and multi-function printer.
7. Purchase wireless access point and internet connection.
8. Purchase office stationary and printer consumables.
9. Purchase a pickup truck or van to deliver consignments to customers.
10. Local advertisement to spread market awareness to the community.
11. Research and development on samples of herbs.
