In an age where the press of a button can relay a message or a private experience to a wide audience on the other side of the world, viral videos spread on the social media reach these audiences in a fast and effective way and through that influence and shape global public opinion in every field. Our goal is to show Israel’s beautiful and attractive sides to a young audience around the world, one that will shape the reality of tomorrow.
We enlisted a professional and devoted team from the film industry and together shot in a verity of locations, from a vibrant urban scene to breathtaking nature, we toured the country from north to south for over a week.
The interactive technology that Interlude offers allows the viewer to control the plot and navigate it according to their personal preferences and by that choose their own Israel!
This project is run completely voluntarily and in order to succeed we’ve gathered donations and recruited many partners from a wide range of sectors in the country. The clip will be distributed through Israeli and Jewish power multipliers – to their friends around the world, that are likely to have never been exposed to Israel outside of the media image, and by that bringing new awareness. The first and essential step to a successful launch will be marketing the clip here in Israel.
The Impact
What Will You Do with the Money?
The official online launch of the clip will be on Monday, December 22nd 2014, the 7th candle of Hanukah. We will celebrate this with a formal event focusing on “Startup Nation” for Israel’s image, which will be held at the TLV Campus in the Google Israel offices. During this night, on top of launching the clip, we will promote collaborations and projects like ours by creating a meeting between different elements of the technological, art and diplomacy worlds – all blue and white.
