The Jewish Africa Foundation does incredible work in Africa using only the power of their enthusiasm for Torah and Judaism. Their vibrant members have created local study groups, outreach groups, co-ops and even a Kibbutz with their positive energy. [They study with the “Yeshiva Pirche Shoshanim, Africa.”] They take their work very seriously and are very strict Torah observant leaders in their communities. And they do this up until now with no outsider help.

They print and disseminate learning materials all over Africa. They do this as humbly and economically as possible. They have the strictest and most honorable ethics in everything they do and as a consequence they really do touch thousands of lives. They have started a publishing branch of their organization and do incredible work working with outdated printers and overpriced mailing rates. Per my request, they have decided to allow themselves to try crowdfunding in order to reach their goals. I think it would be super nice if they could get printers out to various outposts in their vast network so that they could be much more efficient in  disseminating published material around Africa. I believe they are a powerful force around Africa balancing out and neutralizing many of the negative forces out there. They are a light in the darkness and could certainly use the monetary help of the rest of the world to keep their movement going forward.
