Learning is a universal experience. Think of a time when you were learning something and all of the pieces fell into place, when you finally understood what your teacher was talking about. This is the feeling of being in the Beit Midrash – the magical moment when all of the pieces fall into place and our students finally get what the rabbis are talking about or the moment where a student answers a question the rabbis ask with an example from your their own life or when laughter fills the Beit Midrash because someone has shared something funny?
These are the moments that make Teen Beit Midrash what it is – a focused learning space where all sorts of young people find community with each other and the rabbis. Over the past five years, Teen Beit Midrash has continued to be a place for young people to learn together, guided by dedicated teachers, and our texts.
Teen Beit Midrash is in a moment of leadership transition. This campaign will help create the strong financial base needed to ensure that students engage with the rabbis in our Beit Midrash for years to come.
