Please help a kindergarten in Jerusalem transform vacant lots into a beautiful community garden!

The students and parents of a Jerusalem gan (kindergarten) are working hard to plant a beautiful community garden.

We received all of the necessary permits from the City of Jerusalem to establish the garden, but still need to rent a machine to clear the land, install an irrigation system, purchase gardening supplies, and ensure ongoing upkeep and maintenance.

The garden will be open to the public, and provide a safe place for kids from all of ages and backgrounds to come and learn about gardening, ecology, composting, healthy eating, urban farming, cooperation, and the importance of protecting the environment.

Please let us know when you will be in Jerusalem, and we would be happy to arrange a tour of the garden and meet the kids.
