The Jewish Innovation
Bridge To Peace is a collection of songs which are the culmination of many years of personal searching for wholeness and peace inspired by my work in chaplaincy and in reaction to what’s going on in our world today. It is a CD/Songbook with lyrics and melodies meant to stir the heart and cultivate healing. Every day we turn on the news and hear of senseless hate and violence. These prayers and anthems are a salve to that pain and I believe, through music, we CAN effect change! I need your help in completing the project, which includes 10 beautifully arranged songs and CD produced by Sam Glaser. The first half will be released at the end of June as a Songbook/CD and the second half with five more songs, will be produced over the next year and be released in November 2017. The Impact
The Jewish people have always expressed their joy, sadness, hope and healing through music. That music has influenced and inspired my own writing and has translated to prayers which have been sung and shared in congregations around the world. More than ever, we need to feel empowered by songs which call us to action and wake us up from our every day slumber to the realities which face us every day! Non-Violence and peace are a cause which is imperative, especially for the Jewish people! I believe that music CAN change us, help us to heal and effect change in the world. These heartfelt and singable prayers have the power to bring us together as one family on earth in search of a better life for us and our children. What Will You Do with the Money?
I have already completed the basic tracks for five songs and they are sounding great under the production and guidance of the great artist and producer Sam Glaser! We still need to fill out the songs with a few instruments as well as mix and manufacture the CD which will be placed in back of a songbook which will include full piano and Solo/Choral arrangements. I need the funding to finish the first 5 songs, edit and print the songbook and manufacture the CD that will accompany it. I will then go back into the studio to record the five other songs and add the final touches to all 10 songs, which will complete this project and be released in CD/LP form in the fall of 2017!

Thank you again for helping me get this far in my Jewcer Campaign for Bridge To Peace. I just returned from the American Conference of Cantor’s/Guild of Temple Musicians Convention in Philadelphia where the Oseh Shalom was featured in a new compositions workshop. It was very well received! The EP Songbook/CD’s have arrived and as soon as I get back from my Aleph study week and Aleph Kallah, where I again will be sharing many of these songs, I will ship it out to you along with other ‘swag’ you chose! I’m really excited about the buzz surrounding our mission and message of non-violence, peace and spreading hope in the world. We still have a long way to go so please ‘share’ the link again on your social media pages!
The official release is August 15th! I’ll be doing some radio interviews as well as debuting some songs on Jewish Rock Radio then. Watch for another update in August!
