Amaliah’s team of Israelis, Syrians and Americans are helping those in need after Hurricane Irma!
AMALIAH IS THE ONLY NONPROFIT DISTRIBUTING GASOLINE with Solar-Paneled Portable Gas Stations to power generators and cars until electricity can be restored!
We are seeing firsthand the devastating losses that people in Florida, Georgia and South Carolina have suffered. Help us continue to aid these communities with fuel, water, emergency supplies and the support to keep going.
Amaliah is building bridges by doing good. We are Jews and Muslims united in response to humanitarian crises.
How did Amaliah get their equipment up and running so quickly?
In 2012, Amaliah’s founder, Moti Kahana, provided thousands of gallons of gasoline using ten tankers from his own company to keep hospitals and generators running during Hurricane Sandy. He worked with the Israeli Embassy to coordinate efforts with FEMA, local police, and Jewish communities in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
Then, after securing a financial gift from a Muslim donor for our interfaith work, Amaliah set out for Houston after Hurricane Harvey! The team was on the ground working with the Texas National Guard to provide fuel to power generators in hospitals and private homes, while distributing aid such as food, diapers and bottled water to makeshift shelters around the city.
“After so many years of working together to help the Syrian people, a bridge was built between Israelis and Syrians, and together we are going to Houston to help our fellow Americans,” – Moti Kahana in The Algemeiner
